2018 AF8 orbits the sun every 8,860 days (24.26 years), coming as close as 3.54 AU and reaching as far as 13.21 AU from the sun. Based on its brightness and the way it reflects light, 2018 AF8 is probably between 1.772 to 3.963 kilometers in diameter, making it larger than 99% of asteroids, very roughly comparable in size to Mount Everest.
